June Book Suggestions/Voting by Club Members

Below are the book suggestions that were chosen by club members. Each month, at least 5 members will suggest a book and all members will vote on which book to select for the month.

For June's book suggestion, please review the books below. Members, please vote on the book you would like to read for June's Book of the Month. Every member should vote including those who suggested a book. For those who suggested a book, you may vote for you own book or vote for a book suggested by the other members.

I provided a video interview by the author or a video related to the book. The ones that don't have a video, I could not find a video for the suggested book.

To vote, members please comment on this blog post and not on the forum. Voting will begin April 28th to April 30th. Voting will close at 11:00 pm April 30th. If there's a tie, I will make the final decision. I will post the selected book for June on May 1st.

  1. Wow all good suggestions! I vote for Angels and Demons because I remember how much I enjoyed The Da Vinci Code. My second choice would be No Time for Goodbye...what a unique premise!
Anyway, whichever one gets chosen, I hope some of these are suggested for the months to come again as I would like to read most of them.

  2. That was a hard choice! No Time for Goodbye gets my vote. If it doesn't win I'm going to read it on my own- I'm intrigued!

Great idea Theresa- I think we should be able to renominate a book that doesn't get chosen.

  3. I've already read Angels & Demons, and am not a huge Patterson fan. So I have to stick with Boneman's Daughters or No Time for Goodbye.

  8. My choice is No Time For Goodbye. For the life of me I could not get not get through the Davinci Code so I'm not sure I would do well with Angels and Demons.

  9. I vote for No Time For Goodbye, sounds like a good read. I've finished the Dan Brown series, but would recommend Angels and Demons to anyone who hasn't read it. It will keep you on the edge of your seat.

  11. LOL, I voted on the wrong post! I'm voting for Angels and Demons b/c I've always wanted to read it and especially with the movie coming out (I always have to read the book before seeing a movie if I can). This is going to be a blast! I have to start re-reading The Host this weekend. I'm excited to get imersed into the world of wanderer again!
